The Annual (ISSN 0963-1917) is published at the turn of each year. For over twenty years, it has been NAHRG's outlet for longer, high quality articles on the history and archaeology of Norfolk and its area.
Each issue contains five or six illustrated articles, historical essays or descriptions of individual research, written by our own members and others, often (but by no means always) professional historians, archaeologists or academics and including a written version of the most recent Presidential Address (the final talk each lecture season).
Articles, photographs and book reviews (or books for review) are always welcome. Notes for contributors are available on request. Shorter articles are now also welcome (these used to be included in our six-monthly newsletter but that was replaced some time ago by our much more regular email updates).
Articles should have a relevance to Norfolk in particular or to East Anglia generally.
Any articles or enquiries should be sent to annual@nahrg.org.uk .
Publication had been in abeyance since the death of the previous editor in 2019 but it is hoped it will resume in 2024 under our new editor, Richenda Goffin.
